2 going on 10

I met Kyra and Jordan a ways up I-5 at the beautiful Mt. St Helens Visitor Center at Silver Lake. I so will be going back to explore the area more with the kids someday. We walked and talked and of course snapped photos on a beautiful Saturday evening. I so enjoyed little Miss Tenley who is a very mature two year old. She knew just how to pose and smile and she had no problem directing her Mom and Dad when it was there turn for photos. "Say skittles" she would tell them. She was just as cute and much more vocal than the last time I shot this cute family's photos.

Tanaisa is a great client she loves fun family photos and she succeeded with this shoot. We lucked out with the one day of beautiful weather this week (after rescheduling due to rain). The kids had a blast playing around downtown Vancouver while I chased them around and snapped photos.

Meet Tegan, she is a two year old little dolly who is an absolute photographers dream! Those big brown eyes and adorable face and not to mention the sweetest personality. She loves having her pictures taken and will march through prickers and thorns with no complaints and pose for you as long as you'll let her. I love this little cutie and her beautiful photos. I couldn't stop dreaming of this photo shoot while reading A Girl of the Limberlost awhile back (great book by the way, read it if you haven't)  Butterflies, flowers, sunshine and Tegan. A perfect combination.

Piper in the pear blossoms. My husband was pruning the pear tree in the backyard the other day and even though I was in the middle of making dinner and had to leave in like ten minutes I could not resist dressing baby girl up and plopping her in the middle of all those blossoms for a few photos. She is wearing her sisters hand me down Edens Bouquet wrap top with the matching pants.

Sweet baby Tylan is almost 3 months old and oh so beautiful. I just wanted to pinch those cheekers and nibble on those rolly polly arms. Don't worry I restrained myself (luckily I have my own sweet baby girl to squeeze other wise I probably couldn't have resisted). She took a tiny cat nap and gave me just enough time to snap a few sweetly sleeping photos.
